Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning® prides itself on giving back to its community. 2014 has been off to a great start as we’ve had the opportunity to sponsor both the Morris Knolls 10th Annual 5K as well as the 2014 Randolph Boys Lacrosse League. Keeping up with our tradition of giving, Ned Stevens would like to formally announce our second year as a runners’ bibs sponsor of the West Essex Foundation for Education’s (WEFE) 4th annual “Trotting for Technology 5K”. The race will raise financial support and visibility for innovative programs that enrich student achievement and promote excellence in education. Proceeds will directly benefit the West Essex Board of Education’s Technology plan to equip all classrooms with smart boards. Kudos to the West Essex Superintendent, Barbara Longo, for leading this initiative!
This year’s “Trotting for Technology” run will take place at 9am on Sunday, May 18th at West Essex Regional High School. The race will be sanctioned by the USA Track and Field Association and the course will wind through scenic, North Caldwell neighborhoods. Water stations and split timers will be made available at each mile marker and walking is highly encouraged!
Be sure to sign up for this year’s “Trotting for Technology 5K”! Online registration ends May 14th at 11:59pm ET. The race will occur rain or shine and last minute tickets can be purchased on race day.
