And the answer: Off pitch gutters. An off pitch gutter doesn’t drain properly and is holding water. This problem causes damage to the fascia and soffit areas, and attracts animals to the fresh water.
Remember, a home with a 1,500-square-foot roof sheds 1,000 gallons of water for every inch of falling rain! As such, if you have an off-pitch gutter, we recommend immediately replacing the gutter.
